· ISM 3D Inter Spoke Milling 3 Dimension ISM3D pushes the envelope of ISM one step further by not only machining the lower bridge of the rim between each spoke holes, but also its sidewalls. Machined sidewalls save even more weight and inertia to boost your acceleration and enhance climbing performance.

· FORE Only one of the two rim wall is "drilled". The rim is four times more resistant to fatigue stress. 20% increase in the rim rigidity to transfer all of your energy to the ground.

· MAXTAL Exclusive to Mavic. An aluminium alloy that is 30% more resistant than a 6106 alloy, for lighter and stronger rims.

· SUP Soudé Usiné Process. A welded rim is more robust, doesn't shudder when braking and gives the wheel greater stability.

· UB Control: Usiné Brut. The braking surfaces are micro-milled to improve braking friction and eliminate shuddering.

· TRA COMP Traction Compression. TraComp carbon fiber spokes work in traction and compression. Under normal loads, wheel deflection is limited by the very high traction resistance of carbon fibers. Under greater loads, where a normal wheel would flex more because of one of its spoke loosening, TraComp spokes enter into compression and keep supporting the rim, preventing any further wheel deflection.

· Zicral Ultra light weight and highly resistant spokes. A Zicral spoke has 10% more static resistance than a stainless steel spoke of the same weight.
